If you are as obsessed with Amazon as we are, then you’ll be excited about this list of teacher must-haves. Time and money are both something in short supply for most of us. Having the supplies you need delivered straight to your door or better yet, your school’s door, can help.
Amazon also offers a school rewards program that allows your school to earn money back on purchases made with a designated code (unless you live in California, Colorado, Illinois, North Carolina, or Rhode Island-sorry guys!). If you share this code with parents who are already making purchases for their family/household on Amazon then the rewards can quickly add up. Here are our Top Ten Teacher Must-Haves:
You can definitely DIY this using just plain old contact paper, but these are a great time saver and at $6 will not break the bank. Not to mention it frees up your whiteboard for other things, These are great to stick to a desk, table, the wall, or even the floor for group work or even a quirky review game. Check them out HERE.
If you don’t already have THIS, you need one. There are SO many uses (paper storage, student station, art supplies, etc…)! This is a go-to item for any classroom. That is whey you are seeing them every time you turn around and why they made our teacher must-haves list.
We absolutely love THESE pens for those things that need to go up on the board, but you don’t want erased right away. We also love to write on our floors with them. You heard–Read me right! I always write on my floor for class review games and these are my go-to!
We love THESE for holding supplies for tables and stations. They are easy to label and the handle makes them easy to move. They are versatile, colorful, and at 6 for under $25, it’s definitely a deal.
Scoop rockers are the new thing in Elementary and with a six-pack only costing $50, we can see why. This is a cost efficient option for reading corners or to offer some flexible seating in your room. We like that they come in lots of different colors!
THIS cabinet can be wall mounted or stacked. There are two different sized compartments and with forty-four different drawers, you have a place to stow literally anything. We are going to just start shopping in the tool section because we haven’t seen anything this durable with a cost of just $31 in the office section.
THESE are teacher must-haves for anyone looking to decrease the amount of copies they make. They are wonderful for tracing, group work, games, worksheets, and much more! CLICK HERE for the 25-pack and the link above for the 10-pack.
Pencil Toppers are a great alternative to the dreaded fidget spinner and definitely a bit more inconspicuous and slightly less annoying. We think they make a great addition to any prize box, or would be good to have on hand for squirrelly students.
After countless times coming into school to find all of my posters and my students’ work lying on the floor instead of hanging on the wall, I realized the secret. Get a Glue Gun! Hot glue will not let you or your posters down and will peel off easily when you are done. If you want to rotate posters we recommend hot gluing THESE velcro strips to the wall. You’re welcome!
THIS is one of the more durable pencil sharpeners out there for the money coming in at right around $25. Be sure to set it at a level that the students are not sharpening their pencils at an angle, and to assign someone to empty it everyday or even a few times a day. This will hopefully give it a little longer lifespan.
